When will Quicken Financial Life for Mac be available?

As you know, we are hard at work on Quicken Financial Life for Mac -- the next generation Quicken platform built to leverage the power of Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard" and beyond.

We have two announcements about our product release and timeline:

1. We will be releasing the product this Winter.
2. The public Beta of Quicken Financial Life for Mac will begin this Fall.

We are committed to delivering a robust set of features as well as a rich and fluid user experience for you, our loyal Mac customers. Achieving this with a rewrite of Quicken on OSX Leopard and future generations has required significant engineering and quality testing. To ensure the best possible Mac experience, we're taking some extra time to get it right and build the best possible Quicken product for our customers.

How soon will I receive my Quicken personal finance software and what are my shipping options?

Shipping times and costs vary based on the products you are purchasing and their availability. Click here to see general delivery dates for products that are currently in stock and shipping. Your order's estimated delivery dates will be provided on the Review Order page prior to placing your order. We will send you an e-mail confirmation when the product ships from our warehouses.

Yes, Quicken Financial Life for Mac is compatible and supported on Mac OS 10.5 ("Leopard"). For additional information about using Mac OS 10.5 ("Leopard"), please visit Apple's Web site.

If you need Quicken to run on Mac OS 10.4 ("Tiger") or earlier, you must use Quicken Mac 2007.

Quicken Financial Life for Mac works with more than 4,400 financial institutions¹, making it even easier to bank online, pay bills and download transactions from your bank, credit card or investment accounts. The list of financial institutions is always being updated as more are added, and the online features differ for each institution, and across Windows and Macintosh. How do I update my data from a prior version of Quicken like Quicken Mac 2007?

After installing Quicken Financial Life for Mac, you can import your old Quicken Mac file to Quicken Financial Life using a simple conversion utility provided with the software. If you need additional help with the installation or upgrade process for the newest version of Quicken personal finance software, you can take advantage of free live customer support through December 31, 2009.²
